Centrally located and with excellent transport links, Victoria is an idea base from which to enjoy all that London has to offer. Spend some time marveling at the fantastic exhibits at Tate Britain before strolling along the river soaking up the views and stunning architecture of Westminster. Alternatively, if antiques are your thing, take time to explore Pimlico Road, a world famous, specialist fine antique district. Buckingham Palace is a must see!

out of 5The hotel itself was fine - nothing special, our room was tiny and we could barely open the door to the bathroom as it banged against the bed. The staff however were absolutely lovely and really helpful. The location is great but probably wouldn't stay here again. Superbreak gave us wrong directions to get to the hotel from victoria station, with the street names either incorrect or spelt incorrectly resulting in it taking us ages to actually find the hotel - we were in a rush to drop off our bags so this was slightly annoying.

out of 5Stayed at rubens by the palace, went to see billy elliot ,saw buckingham palace by night changing of the guard sunday, short trip at buckingham palace mews, then shopping to oxford street. We are in our 60's what an excellent weekend.

out of 5The new london theatre is a relic of 70 s building however War Horse is an excellent production. The Pestana hotel was an excellent and well run hotel, with helpful and efficient staff.
