Not a good stay at all the breakfast was a joke and we asked for a quiet room and got the noisiest one on a main road....Dreadful!!!.

A budget hotel with friendly staff. Television broke down and kettle did not work but were attended to quickly and with apology. Did not have notification of our booking on the computer when we arrived which was a bit worrying as it was after 10pm and we had travelled from scotland. I had phoned earlier in the day to advise of our late arrival.

Two day weekend break staying @ the hallmark croydon airport to visit grandon on his 3rd birthday. Hotel has been refurbished ie foyer, lounge and restaurant. All very good and tasteful and no faults.Unfortunately the only visual reference to the history of this great location ie croydon airport is with pictures on the landings by the bed rooms. A shame bearing in mind what occurred here.

Booked the queens hotel because was visiting friends nearby. Took over one and half hours to arrive at out destination from kings cross as the direct tube was being maintained. Hotel very tired needing upgraded. Couldn't get served at the bar barmaid serving food. Checked out after the first night. Booked into hotel across the road from kings cross as it was more convenient to travel around and not having the one half hours to the centre of town mabeldon court hotel 55 pound for the room with english breakfast definitly stay there again. But the Superbreak is great value for money. We paid 78 for 2 nights with contiental brakfast and travelled from scotlland so I did not mind paying for the other hotel.

Very disappointed in the hotel. Instructions on how far it was from crystal palace were incorrect. It was more like 15 minutes walk and uphill for the first part. This should be stated for anyone of an elder generation who may have health conditions. The advert was for a continental breakfast which it certainly was not. All it was was a couple of slices of toast, cornflakes (no choice), inferior orange juice - we had to ask for brown toast and marmalade! a true continental breakfast would include rolls, ham, cheese etc. The room was not that clean and the hotel appeared to have an incorrect booking when we arrived - it seemed they had us down for 2 rooms for one night instead of 1 room for 2 nights. My husband and i were very disappointed. I know you get what you pay for but discriptions of the hotel, in some cases, were not accurate. Having used Superbreak before with excellent results i was very surprised.

Booked this hotel six weeks prior to stay, as convenient for a wedding we were attending. Non smoking room requested but on arrival only room available was smoking. Not a good start as this meant we had to keep our other clothes bagged up to avoid stinking of smoke. Aside from the smell, room was clean and in a great location. Ate evening meal at beefeater, although very busy, had a tasty, good value meal. Breakfast (included in booking) at hotel would have been vastly improved if the food was hot! there was a decent choice of cereals, fresh fruit and cooked food etc. But tepid fatty bacon, cold scrambled egg, tomatoes and mushrooms is not good enough for a hotel purporting to be 4 star. Plus point: staff arranged a late check out to accommodate our requirements.

Not the best travelodge i have stayed in, needs redecorating, but however my room was clean and tidy, hotel location was a short walk to trainline so travelling into london was very easy only took 15mins, staff seemed fine at the hotel, we only had breakfast buffet once which was really average.

Adedquate hotel but were not made aware that evening meals had to be pre-booked which meant going to local pub for meal. What you would expect from a budget hotel, adequate for our purpose. It was the location that suited our needs, close to trams for wimbledon and east croydon station.

Visiting relatives.

We needed a cheap hotel and found one in cp. Hotel is basic but decent enough and the staff are good. The train station was about a mile away and can be reached easily enough on foot. It took 45 mins to london victoria. If you want to see the central sites in london then get a hotel more locally as the travelling becomes a pain. I dont know what cp is like as it wasn't the area we wanted to visit, it was purely an economical decision.

The hotel must of been amazing 10 years ago.They have let the hotel and golf course go, but we still had great break with a large room and tasty dinner.

Booked rail break from newcastle; excellent value as was the hotel.The hotel details give the distance from east croydon station as 1 mile, i would say it is less than 1/2 mile. We took the tram for one stop and just had to walk round the corner.Buffet breakfast was good. The room was simply enormous but do not know if this was an exception. Will certainly consider a return visit.

Based in croydon our weekend featured a visit to the allergy show at olympia 2 & watching ghost stories at the duke of york. Went by train to london and used trams and underground to get around.

Traveled to london via train from motherwell train journey was long but comfortable. Once we arrived in london we made our way to soho and the theatre district for les miserables. After the amazing show we left the theatre and made our way on foot towards westminster and where surprised to find how close together everything was. We then made our way via train to our hotel in croydon. Upon arrival at the hotel we encountered a problem as the hotel informed us that we hadnt been booked into a room. After negotiating and proving to the hotel staff that we had indeed booked a room we where informed that Superbreak had not notified the hotel of the booking and so that was where the confusion lay. We also discovered that this was not uncommon and was easily rectified. The rest of our time in london was enjoyable with a good rest and breakfast befroe heading back into london for a bus tour, a look around the house guard musuem and then a shopping trip before heading to belle italia for a meal. After being fed and watered we left for the train station and the journey back to motherwell.

For the price the stay was good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Coming from a rural community we found the room at the front noisy from the busy road and sound proofing of the room could be better as we found when some rugby fans returned after twickenham.There were no coat hangers and the tv remote was missing and not replaced after we reported it.

Beautiful hotel, huge rooms and very good service. The only thing I would say was that our room was the the start of the corridor and there were some very noisy people going past very late into the night. I dont think there is a lot the hotel can do about this, maybe a few signs asking people to consider others!.

We stayed for 3 nights & were made welcome as soon as we enterted the hotel. The only problem we found was there was only 1 person on the reception desk whenever we required assistance & had to wait in a queue for service. We would be happy to make a return visit.

Whilst the hotel is nice it is tired and in need of a good clean. Whilst staff were helpful there are far too few of them and service is unbelievably slow. 50 mins for a sandwich each of the 2 occassions ordered. Also a 25 minute wait to get into the breakfast room. Massively under resourced - avoid if speedy service is expected.

The hotel was run well and was very clean, but the people who live in the area need to slow down and take a chill pill. It is rush rush rush every where you go.

We booked this hotel from your web page on a late booking as I had an urgent business meeting the following day. We found the staff, hotel and facilities excellent and would not hesitate to visit again. We also enquired about golf breaks at the hotel.

The hotel building and grounds are very good and most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The only problem which is recurring after a few visits to this hotel is the breakfast. There is little consistency with the food presented, the staff hardly speak english and do not always do as they say eg getting fresh juice or coffee. There seems to be little organisation and staff attitude at breakfast time in the dining area is appalling. Have had to collect glasses and juice from another area myself on one occasion and not had the choice of food on the menu as none there!.

After a rain filled week in a caravan in Cornwall, we stopped off to visit family in Croydon. Despartely needing some luxury, we chose to stay at the Selsdon Park Hotel, we were so glad to see a beautiful hotel. Upon check in the reception staff were pretencious and with no porters to help with our baggage not a good start. The room we were given was in desperate need of decoration, on the ground floor adjacent to the staff quarters overlooking the bins and very small. Not happy we requested a bigger room and we were then abruptly told we would have to be upgraded, to accomodate our luggage and 13 mth old daughter. The room given was nice but the bathroom floor tile grouting needed attention. Anyway the bedroom was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic so much to choose from, overall the food on offer was fantastic from room service to bar snacks. Just a let down from the reception staff and they do say first impressions last.

We were in London for a wedding so didnt do much else. Jurys Inn Croydon was a perfect location for shopping and travel by train or bus. Hotel was very good value and all staff very attentive. Breakfast was well laid out and food hot. We will return and have told friends to go too.

Thoroughly enjoyed our combined open top bus ride and Thames river cruise, weather was very warm sunshine and we were fascinated with our time at the Tower of London. The science museum was great the next day, the only downer being the lengthy queues to get in but all in all a superb break.

We stayed at the Selsdon Park as my children were doing judo at Crystal Palace the next day. What a lovely daythe kids had inj the outdoor pool and leisure complex. The view from the terrace was beautiful and a few drinks were had. Bar meal was lovely and breakfast had a huge selection. It was a fantastic weekend and I willl definately stay there again.

A good value overnight stay with panoramic views from the hotel across London. Ideal for a cheap stop-over.

We had a fantastic weekend in Chessington - Park was great, on site Hotel was good too, however the staff at the Hotel weren't, which was a bit of a let down. Whilst booking in the receptionist had taken extra money off my card, (actually paying twice) which they accepted was a mistake, however after being assured this was set right 3 times, I'm still awaiting refund nearly 2 weeks later...!! Other than that had a great time

Stayed in London for a couple of nights so that I could attend my grandaughter's Christening. Didn't spend any time visiting the sights in London. Stayed at this hotel before and found it adequate for my short stay needs.

The hotel looks impressive and the reception areas are well kept. The first rooms we were given we refused. The staff were pleasant and showed us two more room. We picked the best which was two doubles. Our son 14, slept in our room. Breakfast was taken on the 5th floor which had wonderful views of the City. There was a single continuos toaster, a choice of cornflakes or cornflakes, apple and orange juice. Sliced processed ham and processed cheese slices, still in the wrappers. Four types of jam. There was a shortage of bowls, the hotel ran out of butter and a tub of flora with a knife stuck in it appeared. We were wakened around 5.30am by a hammering noise, which turned out to be the radiator in the en-suite. At 8.00am trollies were taken past the room. Then grass cutting & strimmers forced us from our beds. The shower riser had nowhere to hook. (Broken on the wall) Asked for three cups in the room. Still only two, but coffee and tea for three. The TV remote was useless, and we could only receive ITV2. This was with the TV antenna perch on my wife's handbag. Yet the beds were comfortable, clean sheets, beds made daily, towels replaced daily and the room left tidy. Good in some area's but overall, certainly the poorest hotel stayed at with Superbreak.

The Hotel is an amazing place just as in the pictures, the first night however, we stayed on the fifth floor (the part that has not been refurbished) the springs in the beds were torture. We complained at 6.30 am and received an upgrade in minutes. The second night was fantastic. The breakfast is divine. Good parking, free gyn, satelite etc. Good stay all in all. Will stay again!!

On finding the hotel easily we were welcomed warmly by staff. We were also very grateful to be able to check-in earlier than expected.(had phoned ahead to check first.) Room was set out lovely and clean, although a bit cold during the evening.Restaurant was very grandly decorated but also very cold.(Heating had broken down.) Food was excellent and service was good. Will recommend to others and would stay again.

I enjoyed my trip and could only find one thing wrong with the hotel and it was the breakfast area. I would have liked better surroundings.Hotel just accross the road from the shopping precinct. It was very easy to get around by train.Went to see Joseph and had an excellent time at the show and came out of the theatre uplifted from the experience. The cast put their all into the show and left us wanting more.

We booked half board but there was no menu for this. The car park was twice as expensive as advertised. Other than these problems hotel was in a good location to access central London.

We were in Croydon for this event in Shirley. We have stayed in various places nearby before but not at the Jurys Inn. The accomodation and breakfast were good and we will stay here again.

Had an invite from my cockney cousin, "Come to my 50th birthday party" she said. "There will be loads to eat and drink", thats it, I was sold from that point on. First problem was where are we going to stay? My cousin has a one bedroomed flat in Beckenham, Kent. So no room for me, the wife and those two young boys that keep hanging around and insisting they are our sons. I scoured the internet, studied the adverts for liposuction and various body extensions but still hadn't sorted a place to crash for the night when my brother phoned to say he had just booked the Jurys Inn in Croydon through Superbreak.com. I went straight to their website and immediately booked a room and what a cracking deal I had. A room for the four of us including the two kids cost me £43.00 including a full English breakfast. The full price of the room according to the tariff board in the foyer should have been £105 just for the room, and breakfast was £9.95 each. I saved myself £100 by booking through Superbreak. The staff were very friendly and helpful and checking in and out went extremely smoothly.Highly recommend the hotel and a huge thank you to Superbreak.com. which is now the first place I look when I'm about to travel anywhere.

Used hotel for base for travelling to a wedding. The room was basic, but covered our needs. The breakfast was like being back in a school dinner hall, and tables were unclean and clutered with other peoples leftovers. Not what i expect from Jurys as i have stayed in other Jurys accros the country.

I went to Norbury to be around at the birth of my grandaughter. My son was staying with his in-laws and I had to find a hotel to stay in. London at this time of the year is not cheap but booking through Superbreak got me a deal that was half the price that it would have been to book directly through the hotel. I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel as I went to my grandaughter's other grandparents house during the day. However, I had a comfortable night at the hotel and a filling breakfast. The staff were very polite and friendly.I would not hestitate to make Superbreak my first port of call when booking a holiday in the future. They were friendly and clear when I booked and paperwork arrived well in advance of my visit. A nice touch to get a welcome home letter stating that it was hoped that my visit was good.My experience at the Kings College Hospital was less than impressive. Busy waiting rooms and expectant mums standing around, in obvious pain, waiting for a free bed was distressing. Although the birth of my grandchild went well I think the production line attitude to the mothers takes the edge off what should be a great experience in their life. Not the standard of treatment that mothers get in my local Maternity Hospital (Derby City)

For the price we paid, £46 for 2 adults and 2 children, including breakfast, this was a great value stay.Remember to get your NCP parking ticket validated at the front desk to pay only £7 for 24 hours - they didn't offer this information to us, we had to ask. Breakfast is ok, not great - I wouldn't pay the £6 special price for it - you get served your cooked food - not a true buffet style. But the food was ok, not a wide range, but you are paying budget price.

Got london pass with travel pass.excellent way to get around and see lots of sights at reasonable price. Saw Tower of London, Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, HMS Belfast, St Paul's Cathedral, Clink Prison Museum, British Museum, Windsor Castle, Palace Mews, Covent Garden, Camden Market, Big Ben, Westminster Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Beatles store, Kensington Palace, Hamleys, Rock and Roll store and managed to visit relatives and do some shopping.hotel was easy to find and close to East Croydon station. Bbreakfast could be improved but it was ok. Found it easy to get in and out of London. benefitted from walking for a week and getting a bit fitter. enjoyed London a lot.

me and my partner were away on business and pleasure.the hotel was good and the staff were really accomadating.london is just a short drive away.croydon itself was very nice with plenty of nightlife for those who want it.

We met our Daughter, Lydia and her boyfriend who live in Croyden and stayed at the Jury's Inn., Croyden. We saw a show, did the sights and had a brilliant time.It was lovely for them to show us "their" London as I have lived there before and had "my" London. It was a wonderful weekend.

The Holiday Inn in Chessington was a wonderful surprise. A brand new hotel, only 10 minutes walk from the nearest station which was only 30 minutes from Central London was a wonderful find and great value. The hotel restaurant was fantastic and the new room had all the amenities you would expect from a four star + hotel. With such close proximity to Chessington, we were up early for a great breakfast and on the rides 10 minutes later as soon as the parks opened. Our room looked over the new zoo facility at Chessington, and we thought we would be disturbed by the waking animals, but they seemed to keep at a respectful noise level until gone 9! Chessington itself hasn't changed much for a few years now, and could do with a lick of paint. It is still a fun, family friendly and great facility right on every Londoners doorstep. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn in Chessington, and in booking through Superbreak we got our hotel and park tickets for the same price that it would have cost to book independently at the hotel. A bargain and great weekend too!

We stayed at the Jury's Inn and it's a more than comfortable hotel, there was alot of noise from the people in the room next to us though and this went on until about 11.30pm ish. Ideal location to see London from!

The hotel was good but we were not advised that we could not use the restaurant for our 4 night stay due to big groups using the hotel. We were also not advised that parking would cost 7GBP per day. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.

the queens hotel in crystal palace made us very welcome,could not fault for the price we paid.very comfy room and lovly breakfast.very pleasant stay.we went to visit friends who live there.ther was also great choice ov restaraunts around the vacinity of the hotel situation.plus there was a taxi rank right next door fantastic.

Hotel ran a mini bus service to East Croyden station which was good, trains into Victoria station were clean, tidy and on time, tower yeoman were good guides and their talk was very good. Tube travel was ok, a bit of a rush at home time, but signage was good for visitors. Two restaurants we visited were good, cannot remember their names though. In all a good 4 days was had by all.

The accommodationwas quiet and suitable for a break. If we had wanted more luxury we could have upgraded,but there was no need. The view over the car park and Croydon from thebedroom gave a sense of space and from the dining room it was beautiful.

Had to collect a family member from Gatwick Airport on Sunday morning, so stayed overnight in Croyden on Saturday, but tubed into London for the evening. Wouldn't rush back to Croyden as it was a bit of a dump, but it served a purpose and it was easy to get into central london. The hotel was okay, pretty basic, but again, served a purpose. Good breakfast and easy to get to gatwick

My son and I stayed at the Queen's Hotel while visiting my daughter and my new grandson in Selhurst. The object of our trip was to help Zoe to settle into her flat and carry out essential tasks - hence we visited no swish restaurants or places of interest on this trip.The hotel was conveniently situated for us and fulfilled our requirements. However, re-decoration of the rooms is overdue; my room (69) was less shabyy than my son's room (169) and also apparently much quieter. The price was good for London and I would definitely stay at the Quuen's Hotel again.

We stayed at the Queens Hotel, Crystal Palace and had a good 3 day break. Our room had plenty of space & we had clean sheets & towels. We used the hotel as a base to explore London & for this it was fine. The Crystal Palace area is good for eating out with lots of good restaurants. Access into the centre of London is quick & easy.

Decided to take my young family - 2 boys 4 and 8 to Chessington for the day. Worst bit is always getting there and coming home after a hard day on the rides and so we decided to stay local to the park and came across Superbreak organising 2 night stays at the new Holiday Inn next door to Chessington.Absolutley perfect !! Great food, pool for the night before and morning after day out. Right next door so no travelling involved, so a full day on amusements and room was terrific for children. Clearly a lot of thought had gone in to this as the room was firstly big enough for the 4 (not always the case) and kiddies beds were separated by bathroom from ours so also had a bit of personal space and meant they had their own TV with kiddies channels. Perfect they could lie in bed after a hard day, watch a bit of TV and then crash while we enjoyed a glass of wine watching X Factor (well nothings perfect) in relative peace. Was best weekend we've had for a long time and highlight of summer excursions. Thanks

We thought this hotel was excellent.We had a lovely room overlooking the gardens.The staff were helpful and friendly.We were here to attend a wedding in South Croydon so was an ideal location.Would thouroughly recommend for a peaceful break.

The Jurys hotel croydon is well located, clean, modern. has good facilities and pleasant staff.

We had the best time to relax and have lots of fun. Superbreak gave us a great offer we just couldnt resist and meet up with family we haven't seen in a while.

My wife and I stayed at the Queens Hotel in Crystal Palace, on a trip to see our daughter who had just given birth to our grandaughter. Apart from on our arrival we were given a broom cupboard in the basement, with no facilities, not even a mirror to shave in. I was so annoyed, my wife complained to the duty manager, rather than allowing me to complain. After this initial setback, everything was fine, and we enjoyed our stay.We did receive an apology, and were transferred to a fourth floor room, with the facilities that I had paid for.

Convenient for local public tranport including tram/ train to Central London but also Wimbledon, Sutton etc

We visited London to take part in the marathon. On the night before the marathon we visited an Itallian resturant on the High St in Crystal Palace (i cannot remember the name) The food was excellent,The taxi service from the hotel was also excellent with a helpful desk operator and drivers who were on time and always willing to help,the train service was good from Crystal Palace to Victoria Station.

Whilst my recent trip using your service was relatively local - to attend a work collegue's retiral / birthday, the unobtrusive but noticable welcome, provision of taxi and explanation of facilities meant I had "One less thing to worry about" and could concentrate on the celebration at hand - without worrying about time, last train, or how I was getting home.Made an enjoyable occasion more relaxed.

we went straight to chessington on our first day. Excellent park, very clean, staff friendly. Ques can be quite large. Travelled in car to hotel.Day 2 bought day tickets for the train, tube and bus, cost ?15 for the five of us as our little one is only 22 months. Went on the London Eye. Que was huge but moved very quickly.Day 3 back into London again this time to visit Madam Tussauds. Very good, but not allowed to take pushchair in so did not stay as long as would have liked incase baby distroyed the place.

Visit to the boat show at canary wharf, great to look, but you need one million plus to buy...Went to the theatre to see 'the blood brothers’ a fantastic show full of music, laughter and tears. A must to seeLondon is a wonderful walking city full of delights and surprise's...St James Park, Buckingham palace, Leicester square, Covent garden, so much to see and enjoy.

Watched the Palace v Colchester football game, football was not good but corporate hospitality sponsored by Sekisui Chemical was great. Entertained a customer of ours at El Sombrero after the game. Good food and atmosphere. Good nights sleep, followed by a good breakfast. Now fit for the drive home

We choose to stay near to a family reunion on the Saturday night and we were SO glad we chose The Croydon Aerodrome Classic Hotel. It was faultless and we had an enjoyable time not only at the family party but the convienance of the hotel meant we could pop to Croydon on the Tram system and enjoy stress free shopping. Lovely time and looking to book another short break in February.

Didn't get to hotel until after 11 pm and left after an early breakfast. So no comments on facilities. Check-in quick and efficient. Nice large room. No noise, good nights sleep followed by freshly cooked breakfast, quickly served.
