out of 5Good, regular bus service from Hotel to Rome centre (10 mins to Vatican). Buses run until midnight Vatican astonishing. Short of time, so used 110 service bus tour of main sites. Good service, can get on and off service to spend more time at any particular attraction.

out of 5Excellent hotel,but too far from major attractions and restaurants. Close to metro station but this closed at 9pm.On our last night there was a taxi strike so we were stranded in the centre of Rome. the hotel did not serve food after 10pm.After that time you couldn't even get room service. Not good for a hotel of this rating.

out of 5Rome was fantastic and we were fortunate enough to be there when Italy won the World cup which, made the atmosphere even more electric. The Italians are such wonderful people. all the places of interest are so close. Take a good pair of walking shoes.

out of 5I would suggest getting a tour bus for your first trip out. This enables you to get your bearings as there is so much to see. Not expensive either. Ice cream is wonderful. Wear comfortable clothing and especially shoes as there is alot of walking to do. Visit the cat shelter and give the abandoned cats of Rome a treat.
