Chose hotel for value but feel some things need improving. Overall outside appearance poor, needs a revamp. Access roads in and out poorly lit and signposted can be safety risk as one way system. Room refurbished and good size. Clean. Basic facilities. Swimming pool needs refurbishing, changing rooms poor. Breakfast very basic. No fruit or yoghurts or pasties and croissants. Only 2 fruit juice choices, white or brown medium sliced basic loaf bread. Cereals choice of 4, no muesli choice. Cooked breakfast tasted good. Coffee & tea basic value brands. Stay was ok but wouln't go back unless quality improved.

Unfortunetly the hotel was 8 miles from anywhere local and if you where on the wrong side of the road, you had to travel 2 miles to do a u turn. The hotel tried to charge me for kids breakfast when it was clearly marked on my reciept b&b for all th family. Fisrt day breakfast was slow but good, 2nd day was slower and burnt 3rd day, so slow, gave up. Room was cold and wall paper sliding off the wall. Swimming pool was nice and hot but in need of a deep clean tound the edges. Staff wanted to charge me £2.50 fr extra milk and sugar in the room.

We had a lovely day in Leeds until the snow started and forgot to stop, but the hotel was great the staff brilliant kept us well informed about the road conditions, and loaned us a heater as the room was rather cold, power cut and heating not up to usual standard, meals were great. Drive home not to good 6 miles in 2 hours after that ok. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

I booked up at this hotel for me and my boyfriend for two nights, although it took us a while to find the hotel due to a broken sat-nav. On arrival the hotel looked like an abandoned school or care home, don't let this outer appearance put you off, when we got inside the receptionist was very helpful althought a little hard to understand (with me being a geordie). Our room was clean and bed was comfortable, the bathroom had just been decorated to a modern style. Clean towels and plenty of towels. In the morning we went for breakfast which was quite a let down: two jugs of juice, three cereals and a bowl of olives. Though we had a meal at the hotel that evening which was delicious! cheesecake well recomended. The stay was a pleasant one and would definatly return again. The sunbed is great!.

Trip to Leeds to visit the shopping centre which had been recommended. We were not dissapointed. Hotel great value for money, good restaurant and 1st class staff. Swimming pool ok but in need of renovation.
