out of 5Novotel paddington bedrooms unbearably hot no a/c just some other form of heat & cool but not informed on check & staff not helpful in sorting, hardly slept due to temp in room & little to no fresh air as windows open 3 inches.Wasted an extra £100 to stay here, use ordinary paddington smaller hotels, much better. Rock of ages show fabulous, a "must see" and will be booking again for april but not novotel paddington. The ivy superb and not as expensive as you may think for very high quality food & service.

out of 5Travelled by first class train from Swansea arrived relaxed and walked 500 mtrs to lancaster london hotel which was impressive. Our room had a panoramic view of the city which was worth the whole visit. We had oyster cards which meant we could jump on & off buses whenever we wished and could look at the sights on the way. We shopped in the city and later in the evening saw the david hockney exhibition. The next day we strolled through the park after breakfast before catching the train back to Swansea.

out of 5We were very unhappy with the apartment we stayed in. Firstly, when we pulled up, the name for the accommodations was "hyde park studio apartments" and not "executive apartments". Secondly, the front desk gives you nothing but a key - no guidance on our stay at the hotel, tv channels, trash, linens, what to do when we depart from our stay, restaurants that are nearby - nothing. This was very disappointing as we had never been to London or out of the US and we had so many questions. We had to pose all of our questions to reception, which I feel they should have provided informatin to the consumer. We didn't know until our 5th day that you could trade out your linens, we found the local restaurants on our own, we never figured out the bbc/tv channel situation. I think the small kitchenette should have included a dish towel, soap and a sponge. I certainly wasn't going to buy these things for only a few day visit. We found more guidance when we walked into the hostels nearby to get answers to our whereabouts. Very disappointing stay.
