out of 5The entrance and corridors to these rooms were very very poor and had pungent smell and greatly in need of refurbishment. We upgraded to room in main house which was of a good standard.

Mini Break At The Lambert Arms
A customer who stayed at 4* The Lambert Arms in Aston Rowant wrote this review.
Stay Date: 20/11/11
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5The hotel itself is very good & the standard of the rooms very high. The tea tray offered was rather poor with very little on it. My husband was very disappointed that it was not made clear to us at breakfast that we could have had a full english & not the continental breakfast included in the price we paid. The menu on the table stated we would have had to pay a further £6 each which out of principal we chose not to. Upon checkout the receptionist on duty was inefficient, unprofessional & seemed unable to cope with the customers.
Lovely Room

out of 5Got upgraded to a lovely balcony room overlooking the gardens when we had a problem with the bath plug. Large (christmas) marque in gounds spoiled the view down to the river from the restaurant. 10% hotel discount for bicester village was useful.
