out of 5What an exciting time, staring with a look round selfridges, lunch in neal's yard, a glass of wine in the dog and duck, followed by the jersey boys - fantastic. We took a leisurely walk back to the travelodge via whitehall and st. James' park with a quick look in the window at berry bros and rudd. The next morning after a rousing breakfast, another visit to the food hall in selfridges and the ginger pig for boeuf bougignon pie - superb.

out of 5I travelled with my husband to visit relatives and see a show. The weather was good. Public transport is really good and very affordable. The show was amazing. We laughed and cried. Highly recommended! the restaurant was right beside the theatre. They serve until 11pm, which is ideal. The hotel (Marylebone Travelodge) was adequate. The room smelled slightly musty but seemed spotless.Breakfast was self-service and good.

out of 5Just returned from a three night stay at the fabulous Melia House Hotel. We have visited London four times in the last two years and stayed in other 4 star hotels in various parts of central London but the Melia House Hotel was by far the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The superior room was really beautiful and very spacious. Breakfast was first class and we had a lovely meal in the place restaurant on one of the evenings. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be staying there again when I return to London in 2010!.
