I've stayed at the lowry before and have always had a great time. The staff are good, the food is great and the rooms are huge in comparison to most hotels. On this occasion, we were extra lucky and were upgraded to a suite. It was enormous, almost as big as my 3 bedroom house at 70 sq m. We went to a concert at the men and the stars were in the hotel bar when we got back too - it was like being rich and famous for 1 evening. All in all, we had a great stay at the lowry, and got a great deal from Superbreak too!.

Booked package with tickets and overnight at radisson in manchester. Overall booking process good, tickets available at hotel upon arrival. The hotel wasn't worth the money compared to other 5 star city hotels although I think all hotels had increased their prices with take that being in town. The hotel location was good but a couple of things let it down as compared to other 5 star hotels- the beds weren't very comfortable, felt like cheap matresses and no conditioner provided in the usual toiletries (minor issue). Hotel very busy at weekends and we were unfortunate enough to have been given an adjoining room which meant we were subjected to smoke coming through the adjoining door (hotel is non smoking we were just unlucky that peolpe in the next room choose to ignore this rule).

We were really lucky to get the lowry hotel for our break seeing take that. Every detail was looked after from start to finish and we were treated like royalty, even though we were on a special break package.

We were pleased we upgraded to the lowry hotel, the location was excellent, just a short walk from the arndale centre. The room was superb, the staff excellent and attentive. The city of manchester stadium was easily accessed via taxi. Only negative was robbie didn't sing millenium! we had a fantastic overnight stop in manchester and would definitely consider a return trip to explore the city further.
