out of 5Travelled by first class train from Swansea arrived relaxed and walked 500 mtrs to lancaster london hotel which was impressive. Our room had a panoramic view of the city which was worth the whole visit. We had oyster cards which meant we could jump on & off buses whenever we wished and could look at the sights on the way. We shopped in the city and later in the evening saw the david hockney exhibition. The next day we strolled through the park after breakfast before catching the train back to Swansea.

out of 5A thoroughly enjoyable short break in London including a performance of billy elliott at the victoria palace theatre. On arrival at the bayswater inn hotel there was some confusion however and we were upgraded to the lancaster gate hotel a short distance away. This hotel was very nice and would certainly stay there again. The rooms were clean and comfortable and good value for money. Unfortunately we did not get to see the rooms at the first hotel so cannot comment on that but the staff were pleasant and helpful and sorted out the problem very efficiently. Both hotels were in easy reach of all the places we wanted to visit whilst in london.

out of 5A mother and daughter weekend. Very good hotel (our second stay there), excellent quiet location convenient for both Paddington station and the shops of Oxford Street. We did some Christmas shopping and enjoyed our theatre trip and just enjoyed our time together.

out of 5The hotel view of Hyde Park was great & as located very close to Oxford Street, able to walk quite easily to the shops, restaurant & theatre. Only downside was the price of having a drink in the hotel bar, very expensive as i suppose you would expect for a London hotel.

out of 5Arrived mid afternoon at Lancaster Hotel. Nice reception, but room not ready. Good standard of room with excellent views. Evening show - Wicked - ok but not memorable. On return to the hotel for a late night drink service was friendly but slow. Excellent breakfast with efficient service followed by a great day out at Buckingham Palace + a walk through the park!.
