out of 5The location was a bit inconvenient. A bit too far from kings cross when walking with kids and a bit of luggage. We were disappointed that we had to pay to use the hotel swimming pool and it cost the family £11.50 which is more than our local leisure centre - and the pool was very small and quite busy. The worst aspect of the hotel was that there was a long queue and wait for breakfast in the morning as there was a large group at the hotel. This made it feel like a cattle market rather than a civilised stay in a reputable hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in london and internationally and we have never, ever had to queue for breakfast. Therefore the overall experience was disappointing and not very good value for money.

out of 5Went down for 60th birthday and ruby wedding. Hotel was excellent had a great time sightseeing, hop on hop off bus was great value also got a free river cruise, paid for one day & got a second day free.

out of 5The reception staff were excellent, check in was friendly and very efficient. Room was fine with one double bed even though to booking ref indicated the room would sleep 1-4 guests (cosy to say the least) by joining or being a member of the hotels rewards scheme this allowed a late check out 14.00 which was a bonus and the hotel allowed an early check in 11.00 so full marks to them. Overall a good stay. The only minor negative was the breakfast, comparing it to the crown plaza it came out as just above average.
