Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston Holiday Reviews

St Pancras Station, Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston

The Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston area has increasingly become home to cultural establishments with the British Library and London Canal Museum situated locally. All three railways provide major gateways into the centre of London so the Capital’s entertainment and shopping districts are on your doorstep. Evening entertainment ranges from super-clubs to intimate, picturesque drinking spots - some might say the north of London has it all.

Who Do I Think I Am. My Three Days In The Capital.

The hotel is one that i have stayed at several times. The room is adequate, the only complaint that i have about the rooms is that they have automatic door closers which slam. Visitors very often do not close the door quietly but allow it to slam shut. Breakfast has a good selection of food for self service and the breakfast room is large and spacious. I shall go there again but i do hope they do something about those door closers. Euston, St.Pancras international and kings cross main line stations are within a few minutes walk. Russell square tube is nearby too. If you prefer you can walk through russell square gardens on your way to central London and it's many attractions. A nice easy stroll which would take at most 15 minutes. My reason for this London visit was to attend the "who do you think you are" exhibition at olympia.

February In London

The county hotel is a budget hotel in London, so don't expect too much. What you should expect though is the cleaning staff knock on your door before opening it. Twice my door was opened by two different members of staff, without their knocking before. Provide a decent computer in the lounge!.

Hotel great, close to st pancras and kings cross and easy access to the underground. 12th floor room gave super views and helped us to see land marks, such as st paul's, big ben.Tower and the london eye and helped us orientate ourselves.

Family Break To London

We had 3 great days in London, we were there for the dr who experience as a birthday treat for our 12 year old, however managed to cram in a few sights while there. Our meal at sticky fingers cafe was superb and the kids loved all of the rolling stones stuff, so did we.We found getting around by tube or bus was excellent value and our 10yr old was free. All in all many happy memories and a return to London is definately on the cards. So much to see and do.
