St Pancras Station, Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston
The Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston area has increasingly become home to cultural establishments with the British Library and London Canal Museum situated locally. All three railways provide major gateways into the centre of London so the Capital’s entertainment and shopping districts are on your doorstep. out of 5Family break - 2 parents, 2 grown up children and one teenager. Hotel was very good for the price - 15 mins walk from kings cross - we arrived 1 hour before check in time to drop off bags and were delighted to be offered access to our room. After going to theatre didn't fancy walk to hotel at night (no problem in day time) so got taxi from theatre only £10.50 for the 5 of us. Lovey break.
The County Hotel Euston

out of 5I have stayed at the county hotel millions of times over the years, i am 61 now and i did my hotel training at the county when i was 17 .... It is a basic hotel at a dirt cheap price for central London and right next to euston station and a 5minute walk to kings cross station, there are hundreds of eating places within walking distance and theatres are a 15minute walk away, british museum is 5minute walk from the county hotel.... Ideal location. Up until last year the hotel was exactly the same as when i worked in it in 1968! But this year things are changing.... They now have superb brand new bathrooms and shower rooms and are still on course to putting new ones in on all the floors, there is no en-suites but there is plenty bathrooms and toilets on all floors and never once have i had to wait to use the shower or toilet. The county hotel is like i said a basic hotel and a cheap price, but you will get clean white sheets every day on your bed and a good breakfast....... Go on try it next time you go to London :-) :-).
