I have stayed here 3 times before say no more very good.

I only used the hotel to provide a bed prior to a trip to italy. The room itself was of poor quality, it seems that they are in the middle of a re-build programme. However, the parking worked well and was efficiently administrated, the hotel bus from gatwick was efficient and on time.

Directions to hotel from airport where excellent. Hotel fine, clean, may be better when building work completed. Transfer to airport and back to hotel good.

We used the hotel to stay overnight and park for 15 nights. All the staff were very helpful and the room was large. Car parking could not have been easier and with flight baggage allowances you can leave any overnight case behind as the car park is on site (car is later moved but brought back) I would highly recommend this hotel.

After the long drive down to Gatwick Airport where we were flying from the next day, it was a great welcome to see the holiday inn sign. Offering plenty of parking spaces we parked our car and made our way to check in. The staff were most helpful and informative regarding amenities and transport to the airport. Arriving in our room was again a pleasant suprise, being modern airy and relaxing with a comfortable bed. My wife and I had a very pleasnt and relaxed meal in the restaurant before retiring for the night. The staff gave us the prompt early morning call and the taxi that they pre booked arrived as arranged. On return, after two weeks holiday, our car was ready for us to collect. Overall an excellent stay and service was had. Thank you for all your service, your staff at this holiday inn are a credit to you. Mr. S. A. Johnson.

Great hotel for the airport and good value.

We stayed at the hotel the night before our flight from gatwick which was ideal given the close location to the airport. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful when planning our journey to the airport early the following morning. The hotel itself was impressive and had both a bar and a pub attached for food and drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant and the choices of food and beverages were more than adequate. The hotel room, although not modern deco, was appealing and more importantly clean. The bathroom included a tub with bubble facilities which was a great way to kick of our holiday in relaxation! the beds were large and comfortable and we both got a great nights sleep. We would definitely visit agin if flying from gatwick.

Handy hotel for gatwick. Staff very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed swimming pool to relax after long drive.

The restaurant was really good value and food was good. The rooms were shabby but generally clean. The beds were so uncomfortable we got no sleep. We paid an additional £15 for the car to be delivered to the airport and found this service excellent.

We stayed at the hotel in order to leave car while on holiday. Very convenient, good shuttle service and good value for money.

Hotel needs renovating. Room smelt damp beds creaked badly.

We used the hotel for a short overnight stay prior to catching an early flight from gatwick north. It was very convenient as we left the car there for the duration of our holiday and used the hotel shuttle bus which was quick and reliable.

We've used menzies chequres for airport hotel with parking as it represented excelent value. The staff are good no matter what time you arrive at reception. We would defently use this hotel again to fly from gatwick.

Hotel was fine and the transfer over to the airport was also okay but we had problems with the transfer back to the airport to pick up our car. There were five of us waiting for the bus to go back to the gatwick worth and we were at the bus stop at 9 02 for the 9 22 bus and at 9.35 the other couple rang the hotel to say that the bus had not arrived and we were told that he had come to the stop and there was no one waiting so we all had to wait for another hour for the next bus so we got back to the hotel at 11.45 so we were not pleased.

Good location and good hotel - however shuttle bus service not very convenient. We ended up getting taxi bck to hotel from the airport as we arrived at the bus stop literally 2 minutes after the bus had left. Not going to wait another hour! Other hotels have offered a service where you call them on your return and they send shuttle out.

I used the hotel and parking before my holiday to grenada. The room was large and comfortable, much better than expected and the bar meals were reasonably priced. Cars are not kept on site but it only had an extra 5 miles on the clock when I got back so not too bad. The bus to/from gatwick was prompt, would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good deal.

We felt this was a good value airport hotel along with very helpful staff. Never used the restaurant due to a function taking place but Horley has a few very nice restaurants and only a five minute drive away.

Excellent hotel ideally located by walkway to north terminal. Good choice of restaurants with a friendly bar. Not cheap but with parking included not a bad rate. Will stay again.

Booked Russ House because of early morning Gatwick flight, regular shuttle bus g4 and free parking. Great way to rest up before the holiday flight to Austria. Efficient and helpful check-in and car parking. Great steak in restaurant. Directions to hotel not that clear otherwise great value.

Very good hotel right next to the north terminal where most of the pakage holidays now go from, nice hotel and good food in thier restaurant. Stayed there twice this year and will again, good value!.

I had a great holiday in Sicily. Whilst I was away my car was safely parked at your hotel. Your bus service to and from the airport was excellent.

A little confusing on arrival outside Sofitel hotel, no signs as to location of car park. Took a chance in parking on a no parking area whilst I ran into hotel to enquire what to do next. This was quickly explained to me. From then onwards everything was plain sailing. Very impressed and will definitely use this hotel and parking facility again.

I have stayed at many hotels at Gatwick airport and I always go back to the Europa hotel, I find the staff very efficient and very polite. I recommend this hotel highly and it is a pleasure to stay there.

We have not used this hotel before and were plesantly surprised at the good service we recieved and the modestly priced menu. The stay got our holiday off to a great start. When we returned to the airport our transport came promptly and our car and paperwork was ready for us at reception. One small thing, how about a step for the minibus as I found it difficult getting in at the hotel as there was no kerb to step from.

Very impreessed with efficiency of the service to park car and get me to the airport at a very good price.

The hotel is ideal for Gatwick airport, we were taken to the airport and picked up on the return trip by the hotels courtesy service, which we found excellent. We had breakfast on our return from holiday which was well cooked and adaquete for our needs, the room was warm and the beds comfortable. There seemed to be a problem with some parts of the heating system I think due to renovations going on in the building but this did not affect us.

The Europa hotel, Maidenbower provides easy relaxation and good parking/transfer arrangements for wintersun holidays for Gatwick flights.

Hotel easy to find, although we had trouble finding a parking space when we arrived. Hotel grounds were packed with cars. Check-in no problem. Room was large but very dated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Overall ok for the money.

We stayed at the Europa hotel prior to flying to St Lucia from Gatwick. We were pleasantly surprised and the hotel was much better than we expected and very good value for money. We only wish we had had longer to enjoy all the facilities on offer.

Miss sold information on this hotel, this hotel has no car park, you have to take car to long stay carpark and get bus back to airport not hotel. Book this for a easy life not as good deal as they make out

Flying out of the north terminal, I found the Sofitel a great place to stay.

We were enroute to a cruise on the Nile. Gatwick Worth was a wonderful start to our holiday. The room was perfect for our needs, the restaurant food was excellent and the staff very efficient and friendly. We went for a walk in the evening round the grounds and stables near the hotel which was very rural and quiet. The transport to the airport was efficient and on time, both that morning and when we returned. The price was excellent value we thought.

This hotel was previously a country house hotel and retains a lot of the features.However that is not necessarily a good thing.The majority of the house is sorely in need of refurbishment.The rooms especially and the reception area.The addition of a lift would also be helpful as it used mainly as a stop over on the way to Gatwick and it means that heavy cases have to be dragged up the stairs.Having said that it is good value for money as it includes airport parking and the staff are lovely.

Our stay was satisfactory enough, but there were two disappointments. The public toilets were somewhat dirty, and the garden was full of hotel rubbish,mainly broken furniture. Grass lawn neglected. One got the impression that the staff did not care about these aspects of the hotel, as long as the room was clean.

Used hotel as a pre-flight stop-over for Gatwick Airport

Used the Crawley Worth Hotel as a stopover en route to Gatwick,and for parking whilst on holidy.

This was just an overnight stay at Gatwick on our return from Holiday. The staff were very friendly and hotel was very goo. Cannot comment on anything else as it was just one night stay. I would use the hotel again in the future.

Stayed at Skylane previous to flying to USA to visit my parents for a two week trip. Parked car and stayed overnight in Skylane. Very nice place.

A good way to relax and start your holiday off. Very good service

We used this hotel as a stopover before flying from Gatwick and also used the Summer Special Parking facility. I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was and even though we could see the control tower from our window it was also very quiet! Although we didn't spend much time at the hotel, we were impressed at what we did see, it was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking for Gatwick was easy with a free courtesy bus from the carpark to the South Terminal every 20 minutes. The only small criticism I would make is that our room was quite hot even with the air con on full but overall this is a great hotel which I would definitely use again and would recommend.

We stayed at the Gatwick Worth for one night before flying to Florida. The hotel was very busy, and had little atmosphere. Most of the other geusts were taking advantage of the stay and park deal which we found to be exellent value. Our rooms were clean and quite,no planes flying overhead. The shuttle to the airport took 15 mins.

Absolutely fine stay. Directions to hotel got us there with no problems. Car returned on time. Had the room upgraded, which I think was because they were re-furbishing a lot of the hotel whilst we were there. No noise disruption though. Bus to airport was quick and easy and only stopped at one other hotel. Would use same hotel again next time I fly from Gatwick.

Excellent value, good hotel and parking facility well handled.Only difficulty we had was finding the Hotel from the M23. The map and directions given by the Hotel were poor and we got lost and had to ask a policeman!Otherwise, recommended.

We booked 8 days parking and a night's stay when we returned from our honeymoon 9on 24/12/07. We received a free upgrade to a suite! Excellent.

We travelled down from Birmingham and had overnight stay here as we had early morning flight to Orlando, Florida.Staff were very helpful and even asked if we wanted an alarm call in the morning. Hotel wasrelly handy for Airport. We used their courtesy coach to Gatwick Airport next morning and also on our return 8 days later. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We loved the convienience of staying at the Sofitel as it made for a relaxing night before our long flights to America and included Parking! Great Value

Just used the hotel for accomodation and parking for 2 weeks. Perfectly situated for Gatwick airport, with no aircraft noise.Restaurant served delicious food with a varied menu at a reasonable price. Have used this hotel before and will definitely use again.

Dissappointed with size of room. Bed was only just big enough. Could hear the people in the room next door as walls so thin.

We had a very peaceful overnight stay. The buffet evening meal was very good.Only one thing spoilted it, the TV in the bedroom had very poor reception, you could not get BBC 1, 2 ITV and there were only 5 channels. We would stay there again if we had to fly from Gatwick airport.

I stayed at the Menzies Gatwick the night before an early morning flight to USA. Comfortable bed, good early morning call, helpful staff - useless bar for food. It wasn't crowded but the kitchen couldn't cope. In the end I went to nearby Sainsburys to buy my supper! I needed an early night.

Despite being informed the car would be left at hotel, in the morning I had to drive it to a long stay carpark. The coach would only take us to the south terminal and had to get train to north terminal. Completely destroyed the intention of getting on the coach at the hotel and being taken to the northern terminal at a cost of £2.50.

The Hilton at Gatwick, in our opinion is the best hotel to stay at before embarking on an overseas holiday. The rooms are good, the parking is adjacent and the access to the terminals is only matched by the Soffitel. We will continue to make this our first choice hotel.

hotel was very expensive,unfortunately left my designer top in the bedroom,phoned hotel next morning to advise housekeeping they said they would leave behind reception for me,and never did wouldnt stay there again

Well finding the hotel was easy , the staff were very helpfull . though the lifts are very small. The restuarant has a good chioce of food , even though they get the orders mixed up. I chose the 8 day parking, only problem is the last coach back to the hotel is 23.21 hours not much good when the flights lands at 01.00 , a cab costs about £15.

Our stay at the Clarion-Gatwick was a convenience to our departure flight. The trip total was 10 days. Our first location the Morgan Hotel near the British Museum.For the ramainder of out trip we traceled to Bude, then Southampton. By far, the British people were both friendly and anxious to help.I found The UK generally over priced. In the US, most hotels offer Internet access fre of charge; Pepper is Always on the dining tables; Beds are made with top sheets. Generally, for any purchase, one could ust the US price tag in the UK--It's just pounds instead of dollars at 1 for 2 exchange rate. Corners are typically cut by reduced amenities or charging for them.

We stayed at the Sofitel Gatwick for one night with 8 days parking in order to fly out of Gatwick on holiday. The hotel is convenient & comfortable and the staff are very helpful.The parking is at the airport long stay, so you need to catch a shuttle bus back to the hotel. This was unexpected and annoying, but ultimately worked out OK.The best part of our stay at the hotel was our meal at the Gatwick Oriental. Fabulous Thai & Chinese food in a modern minimalist setting. Good service and reasonable prices. It's almost worth staying here just for the restaurant!

Our trip involved an overnight stay before flying from Gatwick airport incorporating 8 days parking whilst we were away.The Clarion hotel was excellent value for money in this respect, but we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of facilities. Our meal in the restaurant was first class as was our after dinner drinks in the adjacent bar.The staff were very friendly and efficient and helpful in all aspects of our stay.The hotel was easy to find and handily placed for the airport with a shuttle bus that takes you from door to door.All in all my wife and I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Flew to Luxor, spent one week cruising the Nile on a Steam Paddle Steamer visited several Temples etc. Truly a wonderful experience. Returned to Gatwick and caught local Taxi back to hotel which was very reasonable. The Hotel was excellent.

It was an overnight stay at the airport hotel before we flew to USA, thats why we wanted the hotel and parking.

Courtesy bus to airport on outward journey ok - return to hotel non-existent! Waited over 1 hour then got taxi! Extremely poor service!

We actually booked the hotel for the night before our flight to Florida. We found it very comfortable and the staff were excellent. Our car was ready and waiting for us to simply drive home to Wales upon our return. All in all we found this to be a superb deal, ie.£80 for the night for myself and my husband including looking after our car for the full 12 nights we were away. Thank you very much.

If you want to start a holiday in as relaxed a way as possible then stay at the Sofitel Gatwick. Park your car in the longterm car park (it's included in the price), have a refreshing night's sleep then stroll across to the terminal in the morning avoiding an early start and the queues on the motorway.

The hotel is obviously in the process of much needed renovation. However the staff were very helpful. We were on the way to a ski trip in Austria

The delivery and collection to airport very good, food fine, good room, good alarm. Went to car that was now parked in dark uneven area and covered in what looks like cement dust! Have stayed here before but realise that there are better hotels, nearer the airport with superior facilities and at same price, therefore next time will try oneof these.

Travel from Cornwall to Gatwick for 2 wks holiday only.One night stay at Gatwick Worth Hotel.Ate out in Crawley on Sat night with 5am departure next day. Very efficient transfers from hotel to airport. Excellent selection of free magazines & newspapers in lobby for the journey.

I use the hotel when we have an early morning flight. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the north terminal and provides pre booking and payment for longterm car parking.The rooms are comfortable and quiet and I would use the hotel again.

Sofitel Gatwick. Not the cheapest but probably the most convenient.Shame swimming pool closed but was made aware at time of booking.Perfect for night before check in.

Very near the airport

A super hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and spacious ad well soundproofed. There were a couple of noisy parties going on but once in our room we heard nothing until morning.We used the hotel because it is convenient for Gatwick airport and offers parking and a coach to the terminalThe restaurant is good but we have also enjoyed meals in East Grinstead. The leisure facilities look very good as well.

The short break was only for an overnight stop enroute to Gatwick and then India.The hotel was great nice garden to walk around after dinner followed by a relaxing cocktail before bedtime.Following morning no rush to vacate transport to airport clean on time and efficient.would stay again if in the area.

The hotel gave us a restful nights sleep and a super meal, following a 6 hour road journey to Gatwick from the North, to catch an early morning flightArriving in the afternnon, we had a relaxing swim, sauna and steam room, followed by a few drinks and a meal, which gave us an excellent start to our holidayBy morning, we were rested. The check out at 5.00 a.m was quick and easy and the taxi arrived exactly on time. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff helpful and attentive.

We used the hotel and took advantage of the parking facilities for our trip to USA/Canada.Having previously used others hotels we both rate this the highest and will certainly return.Because of our recommendation our friends have also stayed there with you.The pick up service was second to none.Thankyou

Hotel and parking were fine and as expected. Transfer to terminal had changed from previous visit and the 5 minute journey took 30.

The Skylane Hotel was very well placed for the airport. Although it was only rated as 2* it was quite adequate for an overnight stop and the price included parking. We had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel which was good value for money. The transfers to and from the airport ran smoothly. A couple of things let it down which werea)No toiletries except for very basic soap (not even the squeezy shower wash was available) and our little girl left her 'sleep teddy' behind which we thought would be on reception on our return (we thought it would be handed in by the cleaner) but they didnt have it, which was very disappointing.

Unfortunately not a holiday, but a business trip, so did not have time to enjoy the local amenities.

Skiing in ZermattThe Gatwick North Hotel was ok but when I arrived at 8.30pm the transfer bus for the next morning was fully booked and I had to catch one an hour earlier at 05.30!! Somewhat negated the point of staying there.

We parked at Skylane Hotel before jetting off to Bulgaria Skiing. The hotel was positioned very conveniently to Gatwick Hotel. We also had one nights sleep at the Hotel on the way back from our holiday. This was very convenient as we were very tired to drive home after our flight.

All previous stays (5) at this hotel utilised the family rooms, with loads of space. The best family room I ever stayed in was at this hotel in October 2006. The big rooms overlook the lobby, so ask and if you are lucky to get one, you too will be impressed.This is why I was a little disappointed to have a standard rom with bunks this time.(It was sold to me as a family room).Notwithstanding our recent stay, the hotel is great, good food, drinks a little expensive, but excellent staff in all areas.I have already booked a family room for our next trip in May 2007. Looking forward to it already.

Excellent in all respects from parking, our supper in the Sports bar,the early morning wake up call and the shuttle bus to and from Gatwick Airport.Highly recommended for a safe place to leave your car and enjoy your holiday.

Great value for the parking and room overnight but you wouldn't want to stay there other than that.

A good place to park if flying from Gatwick - large hotel with atmosphere and a pub attached. Just off M23. Great a la carte restaurant. Coach leaves for the airport every hour - we were not given any details of how to return, but assumed the coach was every hour back, not on demand. As a result, at a 21.30 arrival we returned to the hotel by taxi - so add in an extra £10.50 to your plans. Great that the parking is on site at the hotel, can deposit luggage at hotel and collect car - easy. Will use again.

Although we only stayed for a night, the facilities were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the Skylane Hotel.
