out of 5We thoroughly enjoyed the break its just my husband felt for a 4* hotel the standard wasnt as great as it should have been. The wait to be checked in was deplorable and the staff werent exactly understanding or helpful. The breakfast my husband felt was poor and the bar food we ordered cost a fortune and we didnt eat it it was horrible.

out of 5requested upper floor bedrooms but were given basement rooms. had to be moved next day. inconvientient! rooms lacked some towels. bus tour was shortened tour but were not told this when we paid and had started journey. we later complained and were refunded our money.also very poor lazy guide called John who told us very little on the tour of Edinburgh. great city for a short break. good transport, shops and interesting things to see.
