Booked a friday and saturday night in the novotel. The hotel was easy to find and only a short walk from the tube station. We arrived early- before 1pm but we were able to check straight in. The room (king & sofa bed) was basic but had everything we needed, was very comfortable and very quiet. There are many eateries close by, and we went into starbucks for a quick lunch. We also used the hotel bar to eat one evening and this was good, but not much choice for kids. Breakfast was great though- for choice, and no wait, even though the hotel was busy. We will definately use this hotel again.

Overall we enjoyed our trip to London booked through Superbreak. However, the hotel was a dissapointment. Reception staff were unprofessional, we found mouse traps in the bedrooms and bathrooms and the breakfast was of an extremely low standard. Hotel was very old and in need of updating asap.

I short break to London topped off by a visit to the menier chocolate theatre. The play terrible advice, on it fully booked last week. We called early to the box office to ask for return tickets. To find two front row seats available. Well worth the walk. Fabulous play, all within touching distance of the stars in a very intimate venue.

Primarily a visit to London with my daughter to see the dr who experience and do shopping. Stayed at the my place hotel, which has seen better days, but is overall a very welcoming and comfy budget hotel. The owners are renovating the hotel room by room so there is hope for the place yet. The hotel is an old building, with cracks here and there, but the rooms are generally clean and comfy. If I were going back with the same limited budget I would definitely consider this hotel as the staff more than made up for any other shortcomings.
