the hotel was great, our suite was beautiful, but housekeeping forgot to make up the sofabed, so we had to wait for a housekeeper to make it at 11.30pm when we arrived back, also breakfast was included in the rate, but we were still charged, i spoke to reception and it was all sorted out, we watched the wizard of oz (at the royal festival hall, southbank centre) which was great, and had dinner at giraffe, which was also very good, i would highly recommend the wyndham grand hotel and would definately return if the price was right

We were quite unlucky to stay in London for the weekend when the temperatures dropped to -15 degrees over night. The hotel was the coldest I have ever been including little or no heat in the room. The breakfast was not the best but the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. London is as always a vibrant and exciting place to visit.

Two Day Break In London

A customerfrom UKwho stayed at 4* Novotel London West in Hammersmith wrote this review.

Stay Date: 13/04/12

Overall Hotel Rating:

5 out of 5

Stayed at the novotel in hammersmith, stayed here last july, loved it that we decided to stay here again, staff helpfull, friendly. Breakfast brilliant, great variety. Location brilliant right near bus station and tube station. Also shopping centre within tube and bus station. Also more shops just over road in big shopping centre. Room clean everyday, quiet to say that work men outside on the dual carriage way, (good sound proof windows). Travelled on tubes got daily ticket for us all worked out much cheaper than paying for each tube train ride, good value for money. Visited westminster abbey, st pauls, churchill cabinet rooms, shakespheres globe theatre. Churchill cabinet rooms brilliant, very educational about the war and full of interesting information regarding what happened underground in these rooms during the war, brilliant interactive device, kids loved it they had to show me how to work it like an ipad. Enjoyed the tour of shakespheres theatre, found the tour very informative, next time we may see a show here. St Pauls brilliant, such history, didnt manage to climb to the very top, spiral stair case, ok if you dont suffer from vertigo. Well worth climbing to the whispering gallery and the next level, brilliant sites overlooking London. We used the interactive ear device, these were like an ipad, gave up after a short while, much prefer the interactive devices in westminster abbey much easier to use.
