Short Break In Brighton

A customer who stayed at 3* Umi Brighton in Brighton wrote this review.

Stay Date: 04/11/11

Overall Hotel Rating:

Great night at the dome seeing glen campbell in his farewell tour. Unfortunately this was followed by no sleep whatsover, the hotel location is adjacent to the brighton centre and several pubs with late night opening, so people were passing under my bedroom window until 4am making a lot of noise. This was followed by recycling lorries from 6am. The hotel itself is fine but if you're staying there I recommend earplugs!.

Great Hotel And A Lovely Meal Out!!!

A customer from UK who stayed at 4* Buxted Park Hotel - A Hand Picked Hotel in Uckfield wrote this review.

Stay Date: 31/10/11

Overall Hotel Rating:

5 out of 5

We were spending the sunday night celebrating my partner's birthday. On arrival at the hotel we felt welcomed and was impressed with the stylish room and beautiful view overlooking the countryside. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at marco pierre white's restaurant, the chequers, in nearby maresfield. After a good nights sleep we were treated to a very nice breakfast at the hotel. Throughout our short but special stay we felt well looked after and re-charged.

The grand was a splendid place to stay. Very central to sea front, shopping & attractions. Staff are helpful & friendly & the breakfast is to die for & will set you up for the day. Brighton itself is great for shopaholics & history buffs. There is plenty to do whether the weather is wet or dry.
