out of 5Weekend in London was excellent, great weather, seeing the houses of parliament, westminster, big ben was very interesting. Our trip on the London Eye was a highlight as was our evening at the royal albert hall to see the classical spectacular. A great weekend indeed. Having the oyster card was very convenient for tube and bus. Our hotel was comfortable and met our needs for short weekend break. However they did not have bedside lights in the bedroom which was a bit annoying. I would not recommend that you ask them to book you a taxi to the royal albert hall. The distance between the hotel and the hall was not great and it cost £16.00. Luckily we managed to get a bus back to the hotel for just £2.40 (we had forgotten to take our oyster card).

out of 5Arrived early and had breakfast by the Thames before London dungeon then back to check in at hotel, rooms very pleasant and close together as requested. Back out for food and pre show drinks at the ice bar then on to the lion king for a fantastic evening. Late breakfast the next day (up to 12 which is a plus) then day shopping and finished with afternoon tea at the hyde park hilton again excellent and a great way to finish the weekend on which the sun shone all the time!.
