out of 5The room was spacious and comfortable. A little on the warm side initially as we were situated above the kitchen but opened window and turned heating down. Staff very obliging, polite, courteous, professional but also very pleasant we were not blessed with the best of weather but it did not stop us exploring the area. Must be one of the few unspoilt parts of Britain with stunning scenery and a bird watcher's paradise! Would certainly visit again. A most enjoyable and memorable stay.

out of 52 nights was sufficient. Three tuns hotel is tired but staff and food were excellent. Room overlooking main road was noisy.

out of 5On arrival there were no readily visible signs for easier or disabled access to the hotel. When we finally got to reception, we were ignored for 2-3 minutes as the 2 female staff "did something else" and this was after watching us stuggle up the outside stairs and the inside stairs and then across the lobby. We asked if there was level access and a finger pointed to a revolving door at the back corner of the building - again no signs. When we were allocated a room, we asked if there were any stairs and the room was changed. This room turned out to be the furthest away from the lift and was under the sloping roof of the building so making the room about half the size of one on a lower floor. We left a credit card impression so that we could just sign for any "extra" in the hotel. When we used the restaurant and tried to allocate the meal cost to the room this bit did not work as we had to pay by card for our meal. Not the "hotel's formality" as we had been lead to believe. Given the cost of 1 night's poor accomodation, we believe that we were seriously overcharged for a not very pleasant experience.
