out of 5Comfortable hotel, accommodating staff. Due to the type and size of the hotel it attracts many coach parties for overnight/weekend stays. Should you decide to use the buffet restaurant during your stay be mindful of coach parties and do not leave eating too late. Eg latest attendance to restaurant is 21.30 do not turn up at 20.45 and expect a full main course carvery. The point of the weekend was to attend the prince edward theatre for jersy boys, with another couple. Weekend consisted of friday, saturday and sunday. Travelled exclusively on the underground and dlr (using oyster card).

out of 5The only time that I had been to canary wharf before my trip was part of the London marathon. This time I had time to look at it from a different perspective and appreciate its vibrancy. Close enough to get up to town the hotel was better on the inside than it looked outside. Comfortable with generous sized rooms it was an excellent base for a long weekend. A cruise along the thames the following day on the spirit of chartwell made it a great weekend.

out of 5A fantastic break in London in july. Went to see wizard of oz at palladium and was absolutely overwhelmed. Brilliant. Hotel unfortunately not as good. Asked them if they would be able to cater for my wife who is ceoliac at breakfast. Only a small request (gluten/wheat free bread) and was told no problem. But in morning this request was ignored so she had to make do with scrambled eggs on their own. Bit of a let down.
