out of 5Our room at the city continental hotel was on the small side however it was very clean and newly decorated but being in the basement had no view from the window. We experienced considerable noise early morning when other guests were leaving there rooms. I would advise an early breakfast as this would avoid the chaos around the breakfast bar, space is very much at a premium. The hotel location, for us, was perfect with earls court tube station just around the corner, just 2 stations to the museums and only 15 minutes to the city. There is a great pub just at the end of the road (the blackbird), good meals and a brilliant atmosphere (highly recommended). We had gone to London mainly to visit some of the museums namely the natural history, imperial war and the science and we also included the albert hall. We were delighted with all that we visited except the science museum, which we found disappointing. There was a lot for children to do but we felt there was a lack of exhibits in certain areas. All in all we had a great 3 days thanks to 'Superbreak' for making it affordable, good clean hotel and great travel. I will certainly be going with 'superbreak' in the future.
Two Day Break In London

out of 5Stayed at the novotel in hammersmith, stayed here last july, loved it that we decided to stay here again, staff helpfull, friendly. Breakfast brilliant, great variety. Location brilliant right near bus station and tube station. Also shopping centre within tube and bus station. Also more shops just over road in big shopping centre. Room clean everyday, quiet to say that work men outside on the dual carriage way, (good sound proof windows). Travelled on tubes got daily ticket for us all worked out much cheaper than paying for each tube train ride, good value for money. Visited westminster abbey, st pauls, churchill cabinet rooms, shakespheres globe theatre. Churchill cabinet rooms brilliant, very educational about the war and full of interesting information regarding what happened underground in these rooms during the war, brilliant interactive device, kids loved it they had to show me how to work it like an ipad. Enjoyed the tour of shakespheres theatre, found the tour very informative, next time we may see a show here. St Pauls brilliant, such history, didnt manage to climb to the very top, spiral stair case, ok if you dont suffer from vertigo. Well worth climbing to the whispering gallery and the next level, brilliant sites overlooking London. We used the interactive ear device, these were like an ipad, gave up after a short while, much prefer the interactive devices in westminster abbey much easier to use.

out of 5Enjoyed "midnight tango" at the aldwhych theatre and a superb meal with excellent service at the radisson hotel, cromwell road on a 2 for 1 basis. Had an enjoyable day at kew gardens. The hotel was disappointing and appeared run down the room was fairly basic. The trouser press was not working and numerous light bulbs needed replacing in the common aress. The continental breakfast was not satisfactory eg no brown toast or choice of meats and tea and coffee available only from a machine.
