Winchester is an historic city in the county of Hampshire and was formerly the capital of England during the 10th and early 11th centuries. Must sees include the Great Hall and the impressive Winchester Cathedral. Winchester has great transport links with London and Southampton and ideally sits between wonderful South Downs and the New Forest.

out of 5Bar very expensive £7.60 for small glass of wine, also very noisy, they clean out the dispense on a sunday evening, the noise was so bad it emptied the bar.

out of 5We came to visit a new grandchild who lives nearby. The hotel was very quiet and efficiently run. There was a wedding reception on the saturday night. We did not hear any noise at all. Would recommend and would definitely book here again.

out of 5Lovely hotel, very clean, the staff were very nice. Only thing was that i felt sorry for the people who have to clean the room the beds still have old fashioned blankets and sheets, it would have been nice if they had duvet's so much better.
