out of 5The sun shone the whole time we were there which made our stay very enjoyable. We went to tigerlilly bar which we found very expensive. The restaurant chop chop was different to the normal chinese restaurants we normally visit, but was enjoyable.

out of 5As always Edinburgh is a pleasure to visit, it can be as cheap or expensive as you want, walking about in the old town, absorbing the history and yet be equally fascinated by the cosmopolitan atmosphere. Look at the shops and visit the many sites. The one o'clock was marvelled at by my three year old grandson who was on his first of hopefully many visits. We shall return as Edinburgh has so much to offer, all easily walked by the smallest of feet.

out of 5My husband and I stayed at the raddison blu hotel on the royal mile for 2 nights over the new year 2010. The hotel itself is perfectly located for all the attractions, within walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. We cannot fault it in any way, we certainly would stay there again. We travelled via plane and on arrival at the airport we chose to travel onwards via the airlink service (£12.00 return) which runs every 10 minutes.This was a great choice as it took us directly to princes street/waverley bridge and cost a third of the price of a taxi and only took 30 minutes!!.
