out of 5Very easy to get to, hotel had seen better days, but good food and accomodation, easy parking and close to the village. Only 4 pubs in village! Good takeaway food and beautiful views!.

out of 5The hotel was very well situated to visit all parts of Devon. The meals were a delight to return to after a long day out sightseeing. The service was of a very high standard. The staff were extremely friendly, and so the atmosphere, despite the high standard dress code of tie and jackets and no jeans, was very relaxed. The room was very clean and well equipped with all necessary items for the needs our stay.

out of 5We decided to stay at the new inn this time. On the plus side we could take our small dog in our room on the downside they did not advise us, despite us calling, that their restaurant would not be open during our stay. The first night we went down to the red lion, the other two nights we stayed at the new inn where they did a reasonable bar meal. I was a bit disappointed as it was a celebration for my husband's birthday and it would have been nice to have been able to have a restaurant meal in the hotel. Overall we had good weather considering it was november and just visited various places, bude being our favourite.
