out of 5Hotel is 5 mins. Taxi ride from gatwick and if you book taxi through hotel it is cheaper. Ideal stopover if early flight next day. Horley is a nice place to wander round on a lovely sunny day if you have the time.

out of 5Menzies Chequers hotel proved to be a very good, reasonably priced hotel to stay overnight between flights in/out of Gatwick.I can also recommend the Villa Vodno in Skopje (my ultimate destination) to anyone going to that part of the world.

out of 5Hotel was ideal for our purpose as we were catching a flight to Sharm el Sheikh early the next morning. Just one small hiccup - at around 4.00 am I was waked by the noise of water dripping into our bath, the people in the room above were having a shower and the water was leaking through and dripping into our bath. I informed the reception staff of the problem when we checked out. When we returned for our overnight stay on our way back from our trip we were given a room upgrade

out of 5Hotel was selected due to its proximity to Gatwick airport. The bar service was poor and slow - we were the only people in the bar area!The hotel is undergoing a major and much needed refurbishment. We did not know this at the time of booking.To be fair, we were upgraded to one of the best excutive style rooms in the building which was acceptable to us.The hotel will be much improved when the building work is completed.I I suspect their tariffs will increase significantly when this happens.Overall, the hotel was fine for the purpose which we used it for.We did visit 'Joseph' while in London. Brilliant!
