Wedding Anniversary Treat: Bed/Breakfast & Dinner

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5A lovely hotel, with helpful friendly staff. Well positioned in the village with beautiful private gardens to the rear. This hotel seems to be a popular wedding venue - so be aware if you are planning for a quiet stay. Sadly for us, the "fine dining" experience, was a disappointment. The ingredients were of a high quality but larger portions served free of "drizzles" and unnecessary decorative fuss, and would have been far more enjoyable.

out of 5Wonderful country house hotel, with a relaxing atmosphere. Stylish decor where old meets new to an excellent standard. Light and expansive conservatory where breakfast is served. Excellent attentive staff. Highly recommended.

out of 5There were a number conveniently located in the area and well worth a visit - particularly Blenheim Palace and Bourton House Gardens.Blenheim was especially good and the guide conducting the tour round the palace made it both interesting and humurous. The grounds were also in excellent condition and a full day is worth considering to do the place justice.

out of 5The Manor House Classic Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Very friendly staff, giving very good service in the Mulberry Restaurnt. Nouvo cuisine food very interesting, tasty and well presented. Helped us find the Three choirs Vineyard after we had enjoyed the Bacchus wine from the hotel,s wine list.Batsford Arboreatum was lovely. Chipping Norton was apleasant place to visit ansd shop in. Back roads well worth trying. Great scenery off the main routes and time to see it. Saw the Fox hunt go through.
