out of 5We treated my hubby's father to a tank paintball driving experience at armourgeddon. In the evening we chose to eat at the village restaurant as it was recommended on the hotel's website. The food, service and ambience was excellent.

out of 5Brilliant Hotel. That just sums it up really.Just one small snag - because of the way the mini-bar is arranged, when it is checked, it shows up if an item is MOVED - not taken and consumed, so, because we bought some milk and used the mini-bar as a fridge, it showed as though we had moved the item below the milk - this happened 4 times and I had some difficulty in persuading the reception staff that we had not been on a binge on items from the mini-bar!

out of 5Our two sons have been wanting to visit The National Space Centre for some time so we booked a family room at The Leicester Marriott and made a weekend of it.The hotel was superb. Brand new, light and airy - with a fabulous pool and leisure centre. It's located near to the M1 so is easy to find yet perfectly quiet. The room was very comfortable, and dinner in the restaurant proved a big hit.The Space Centre was fun and educational. The planetarium show was the highlight. Both of our sons want to go back and take friendsWe had some time to spare on Sunday morning so drove to Foxton Locks to see how canal barges tackled big hills in the old days. What a fabulous contrast to space travel.It was a great short break. I would recommend this most highly.
