out of 5Went to the isle of man at the wrong time, most attactions of interest were closed and the hotel gave us a room facing a back alley that was used by mainly cooing pigeons and drunks coming out from the pubs so it was really loud rooms were tiny and smelled of musty dust, also the beds were like sleeping on the floor they were so rock hard. Both resturants were closed so for the first night had to find another place to eat...Will never book there again we stayed one extra night due to the seacat cancelling it's trip due to weather and stayed at the best western hotel and casino for just 10 quid more and it was wonderful. Big clean rooms facing the sea and the breakfast was the best part of the journey.

out of 5Hotel rooms were disapointing and scruffy, overlooking back of hotel. Day trip on steam railway to Port Erin was fantastic, great place really relaxing day. Day trip on bus to Castletown was a great day out including visit to the castle, very helpful and knowledgable staff, afternoon visit to the Manx museum in Douglas some very interesting displays and well worth a visit, this atraction is also free entry.

out of 5Our stay in the Isle of Man was very pleasant. We purchased a 3 day travel ticket and toured the island using the horse/tram, steam train, electric train and buses. It was encouraging to see so much uninhabited greenery. Islanders were polite. The pace was refreshing as were the walks along the Douglas seafront.
