About this hotel
Situated in the town centre, this former coaching inn retains all its original charm and character whilst offering every modern facility. All the bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. A choice of dining is provided by the restaurant "Lord Fortescue's" and by the more informal, stylish café/bar/bistro, "62 The Bank". The hotel is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and North Devon's wonderful beaches, whilst the town of Barnstaple itself offers one of the region's best theatres, great shopping and a lively night life.
