out of 5Overall a pleasent stay at the hotel, excellent food and staff. Only critisicm is that there is nowhere quiet to sit and relax, the bar area is small and was very crowded because of a wedding on both nights, they seem to spill into the reception/bar area to escape the noise.

out of 5Excellent Hotel in lovely location and Easy to find having from Surrey. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Bar prices were a bit pricey !!

out of 5Hotel was good but not as Olde World as I would have liked. Had afternoon tea in the bar and they forgot my tea and the first scone was toasted and when they changed the scone it had been put in the microwave and it was not good value for money at £13.25 for tea, one scone, a slice of cake and 4 small sandwiches

out of 5Easy access by road from quiet, comfortable hotel, to Gloucester, it's shops, Cathedral and Docks, and to Slimbridge. Easy wheelchair access to all attractions visited. Hotel stay was memorable in terms of the attentiveness of the restaurant manageress, Elisabeth, who even remembered a cushion to make an elderly relative more comfortable at table! Good food too!
