Grantham has been home to 7 Kings, was the place where Isaac Newton went to school and boasts traditional outdoor markets, cosy pubs and the spectacular Belvoir Castle. The old town is covered in fascinating red brick and stone and St Wulfram’s Parish Church boasts the sixth highest spire of all English churches.

out of 5We enjoyed staying at this clean and family friendly hotel. The room contained two double beds, and had a sizeable bathroom which is always lovely. The tea / coffee set up had some alternatives (hot choc and horlicks) which is also appreciated. We enjoyed using the hotel facilities - lovely pool, and childrens play area (and crazy golf for not too much money) kept us occupied when we weren't at our family do. We hope to return.

out of 5My husband and I just wanted to escape for a couple of days, and this was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, we were in the annex however this was perfectly fine as there were weddings on both evenings and the party noise may have disturbed us in the main house. Neither weddings interfered with our stay, as can very often happen in some hotels, and we always received good care and attention. We will visit again.

out of 5We were a bit dissappointed with our room on arrival in deep need of refurb. We spoke to reception and they let us have 1 night in the main house in a re furb room and the 2nd night we had to return to our very dated room. However, there was a wedding on the sat night and we were very restricted where we could relax, as this was being taken over by the wedding. I felt that the wedding overspilled into too many function rooms. We had very little places to chill and relax.
