out of 5The hotel room was supposed to be a superior double. However, it was the smallest room in the hotel - very tiny and was far from superior. The windows were stained so couldn't even see out - probably becaause the inward view was shocking. Aslo, the room was right next door to the cleaning cupboard where we were woken every morning at 8.30am by the cleaners who would stand outide of our room nattering for at least 20 minutes so there was no going back to sleep. Besides the staff and the breakfast, we would give the room and experience 2 out of 10!.

out of 5Booked 2 rooms, excellent apart from two comments: don't accept the basic rooms. These are just about 3* and certainly not 5 * they are tiny!! Paid extra for an upgrade which was more like it. Could somebody please tell the hotel that when they serve hot breakfasts it should be on hot or at least warm plates. Cold plates are unacceptable. Easy matters for the management to sort out, otherwise excellent and the island and people were lovely.

out of 5Two tired friends looking for a relaxing break away from family commitments had the most indulgent 4 days. From having bags carried, beds turned down, chairs pulled out for you, live entertainment during evening meal, wonderful food, candles on the stairs leading to the pool, and a spa to dream of what more could you want? The hotel made the holiday for us but it was indulgent and works out expensive for a couple. Jersy was lovely. Like England 50 yrs ago. Great shopping lovely beaches, good bus service. We also had good weather which may make a difference. Will return for a week next time and take hubby! Lovely break.

out of 5The way to get around Jersey during the holiday season is the Island Explorer bus service from the main bus station in St Helier. Buy a ticket and you can choose the red, yellow, blue or green routes which take in all the attractions and do them at your leisure on a 1, 3 or 5 day ticket. Just close your eyes as the Jersey roads are narrow but the drivers are very skilful.
