Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5I spent two days at the Warbrook House. I found it to be a lovely house but felt that the transition from the IBM training centre it had been to a De Vere hotel had not been effected. Study groups from IBM were hanging around and there did not seem to be enough staff as all was self-service. Breakfast was a self-service buffet which is not unusual but what I did find unusual was that I had to make my own toast. The reception staff were perhaps the only professional staff in the hotel as the others seemed to be trainees and were not generally dressed in uniforms. The bedroom was nicely furnished and warm but perhaps a little small. All in all, I felt it was a lovely house but still more of a conference centre than a professionally run hotel.
