out of 5Although not a problem, our Superbreak booking had not been downloaded from De Vere's head office, and so we were not expected - the room we were given was fine though. Most staff were friendly, but some did not acknowledge you in the corridors. Reception area of the hotel was minute in comparison to the size of the hotel, and to the grandeur of similar 4* hotels.

out of 5The main point of our stay was to attend the Tatton RHS flower show which was very good. It is not as crowded as Chelsea or Hampton Court so well worth a visitWe spent half a day at Lyme Park, a large country house with nice italianate gardens and a deer park. A lot of families came for picnics. Afterwards we drove to Buxton for the afternoon, a beautiful, small spa town. we then went to the Railway pub for an excellent meal which was good value as well as good eating.Trips out. Kew really good, Not far from river boat and tube stations. Nice pub lunch on way from River.Bus and river trips to make most of wet weather

out of 5My family and I came up to stay at De Vere Mottram Hall Hotel for the occasion of my mothers memorial service at Poynton Church. We very much enjoyed our stay and the hotel staff looked after us very well. All our meals were delicious and well presented. On Saturday night we were too late to book into the main resteraunt so we chose to have room service, the meal was good value, very tasty and the service excellent. Our room looked over the golf course with spectacular views of the sunset. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

out of 5Only problem was the hotel had no record of my booking through Superbreak. Despite reminding the hotel twice I was still presented a full bill on departure which of course they had to amend - not sure whether it was Superbreak or the hotel at fault!
