out of 5We stayed at Craig Manor Hotel in Bowness. The Hotel was listed on the net as a 3* but my husband and I felt it deserved a far better rating. The location was lovely set back of the main road with gardens to the rear of the hotel for which we were fortunate to have a view of from our window and able to watch the birds making their nests in early April. The breakfast was very good and staff were very attentive and polite. The room was warm and inviting and decorated nice with a very clean modern bathroom. Our only complaint was the bed was too hard for us to enjoy a good sleep.

out of 5The mini break was excellent.The snow limited us slightly but we still got out in the car and was able to walk to places near to the hotel.The staff were a credit to the hotel especially the restuarant staff. Everyone at that hotel was superb.

out of 5On arrival from Scotland we were met by a member of staff who told us she didnt have any details for us because we had booked through Superbreak, we were then pointed to where our room was,the room itself was clean but looked on to a main road.because the weather was so poor we would have liked to have a drink and relax in the lounge but the bar wasnt open till 6pm.hotel location was good close to town centre and near enough to outlying areas,all in all not a trip to remember as we werent even asked if we enjoyed our stay,
