out of 5Wife and I spent 5 days at the Carlyon Bay last week, 15th June, and had a good time at the Carlyon Bay. Service at the hotel was 2nd to none, the staff were very good and saw to all our needs. The golf course was very good with great views over the sea. The food in the restaurant was very nice, but very pricey!! Nice Chinese and Indian 5 mins walk away. Car park was not very big, but still plenty of places to park just outside hotel. Room was very nice, but very small. The bathroom was tiny as well. Overall it was a good short break, but value wise it was a bit ott. Eden project only a couple of miles away, Charlestown is about a 1 mile away so walkable if able.

out of 5My wife booked the hotel as a birthday treat. All in all it was excellent apart from the restaurant rushing us through the evening meal. Very friendly and helpful staff which was nice. If it wasn't so far, six and a half hour drive, we'd definitely return and possibly eat out.
