out of 5Had a lovely stay near Chatham Dockyard. So much to see there, the ropery is a must! Book tour at till at reception desk. The RNLI museum is beautifully presented - much to see. Hotel room was ok but the bedroom doors were difficult to close quietly. Fire alarm went off the first morning at 6 o clock in the morning but breakfast was not interrupted. Woken up the 2nd morning at 5.30 am by the dutch visitors leaving their rooms to catch an early ferry home. Bad tv reception also but this was being fixed as we left. Apart from the unusual noise, this was a lovely hotel in a good position and the food was fine. Supermarket very close by too.
A Day In Rochester

out of 5We went to Rochester to attend a family party and didn't check in to the hotel until about 10.00pm. The check in was very efficient and so was the service in the bar before we went to bed. A good night's sleep followed by a decent breakfast. Plenty of choice. The only problem witth the food was the mushrooms which had clearly been cooked at least an hour before we ate and were like charred leather !! Overall very good

Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5The Hotel was lovely although situated close to a main road, and would have been nicer in a different setting. The staff were very friendly and made our visit all the more enjoyable. We were there during a heat wave and would have appreciated air conditioning in the bedroom. Fans provided but not as good as air con. Shower over the bath was good but bath very narrow, which would be very awkward for a larger person, so would have prefererred a walk in shower. Would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.
