out of 5Relaxing break in charming victorian hotel. Full of charm, spacious grand and comfortable. For its age good condition with excellent genuine service. Quality food and graet coffee. Spa and pool were very good. Would recommend.

out of 5My friend and I had a great visit. Wessex hotel was excellent. They use their facilities to the full. Lovely swimming pool and gym. Dinner was very good, something on the menu to suit all tastes.

out of 5We enjoyed our stay, we were rather dissapointed with our stay at the wessex. Hotel needs updating and the food was poor and nothing like the standard that it used to be a few years ago.

out of 5Had a great time hotel central so could walk easily to the parks and seafront. Try the landtrain to boscombe but walk back to get some exercise. Nice bar right on the seafront with outdoor area and great wall mounted surfboard for the holiday snaps. Good for families but a bit limited in the evenings as most bars had doorstaff and no children allowed.
