out of 5We stayed at the midland and as always a great stay. Large rooms, if you order deluxe room. Very nice bar and excellent service. We had a great stay in one of chris o'conners lounges at old trafford, 4 course meal and lots of good drinking. A bad game but nothing can beat the atmosphere. Later we went out to "the living room" and had a great time there. There is also some great bars in the "northern quarter" and down by the docks.

out of 5We checked in at 2 p.m. unpacked and had a coffee and were out shopping by 2.40. Lovely room, lovely hotel, handy for car parking (although expensive overnight). After shopping we had a meal at the bank, a bar/restaurant close to the Manchester art gallery and the hotel. Later, we went to see a concert at the men arena. After enjoying the hot buffet breakfast on monday morning, we made our way home. A great weekend.
