out of 5Fantastic hotel, we were upgraded to a room with a lakes view, all the staff were great I have never been anywhere where the service was that good all were friendly and very attentive. Evening meal was expensive will be saving up to go there again and eat in.

out of 5Room was very nice with a private garden patio, albeit facing the hills. Bed a little soft for our taste. Dinner menus too formal and expensive so we ate out.

out of 5Despite the weather, a fabulous weekend.Excellent hotel - spacious and clean spa facilities, good restaurant and brilliant staff.Well positioned for steamer trips to Ambleside and Bowness.Will definitely repeat the experience.

out of 5It was first time trip to the lake destrict for us. The hotel is easy to find by car even for poor English Japanese like us and easy access to anywhere.It was no hotel parking but one of hotel staff immediately take my car for valet service. All staffs are very friendly, well clean up the quiet room with peaceful lake view and public areas. We will come back this hotel again.
