out of 5First impressions of the hotel reception were good, staff could do with smiling a little more though. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Only negative comment when we came back to the hotel after a night out in cardiff we wanted a drink at the hotel bar, but as there was only one member of staff covering reception and the bar we had to wait a considerable time (at least half an hour) for a drink. The hotel was busy so to have just one member of staff on duty at night seemed crazy.

out of 5Our room was lovely and the hotel itself very nice. The staff were extremely helpful. The only down side we found is that we were charged £18.00 for 4 drinks. 1 bacardi and coke, 1 wine spritzer, coke and a shandy. .We thought it would work out to expensive to stay there for a meal so went to the Mason's Arms about a mile and half away. The same drinks there came to just over £10.
