out of 5On the hotel information/pictures the hotel is said to be in lovely grounds. The photo is taken from the back. If like us you end up with a room on the front, you are on a busy road! the room was ridiculously hot - we had to turn the rasdiator off and open the window - even in february.

The break was excellent value, the staff were lovely, the car parking easy, the location superb and the room clean, quiet and comfortable with all facilities we could want. Thanks!.

out of 5Chester is a beautiful town, where my wife and older daughter enjoyed the shopping, and my younger daughter (11) and I loved exploring the historical places . The hotel was friendly, food was excellent and good value and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was spacious and adequate, but we were next to a large generator which kept us awake for periods. That said, we will stay at the hotel again, but just make sure the room is not next to the kitchen where the generator is located.

out of 5The hotel was great and the saturday evening pianist was at hit with both the adults and kids. The visit to the zoo is a must if you have kids, overall a great experience.

out of 5The positives were: our room was very spacious. The leisure facilties were good and my children enjoyed the pool. Bar meals were excellent and the staff friendly and knowledgeable the only negatives were that the hotel decor look a bit tired and the furniture in the room was quite old fashioned.
