out of 5Our (me, my wife, two girls 14+16) expectations reg. Hotel breakfast were very high due to reviews, but we were somewhat dissapointed. The breakfast buffet was medioucre but ok. We went on two fantastic guided tours with "city tours" - highly recommendable. One was a bike tour around berlin, the other was a visit to a concentration camp north of berlin. Super guides did a fantastic job.

out of 5General sight-seeing around the city. Buy a 72hr bus/train ticket at the info desk at airport, great value. X9 bus took us to zoo station close to our hotel. You can hop on and hop off buses, u bahn and s bahn plus gives discount on entry to museums and tours. Transport in berlin is frequent and on time!! stayed at hotel zoo on ku'damm, comfortable but dated, reception staff v helpful, breakfast excellent. Hotel recommended. V enjoyable visit to a great city.

out of 5The hotel was in a great location specially if you fly into shoneberg airport there is a direct transfer. Getting around Berlin with the sytem is great. A must is the Berlin card lots of discounts!.

out of 5Good city full of interest. Buy a welcome travel ticket at the airport if travelling independently. Mark hotel Meinecke easy to find, get off main train at Zoologishe and walk. Walk the city- the best way to be part of it. Potsdam, get train from Zoologishe, 40mins. Brill palaces and gardens, great dutch quarter.
