My best friend and I booked a spa weekend at the mercure hotel: brandon hall. We were not really expecting much. What was most important for us was cleanliness and quiet stay. We were impressed as we pulled in to the hotel as the grounds looked bigger than what was in the picture. Our room was even better and i had a good night's sleep. What was the best thing was the hotel staff did not make any fuss over my friend's dietary needs. They were very accommodating and even suggested alternatives. We both thought it was beyond what we expected of their service level.

The food was excellent and the rib eye steaks were spot on, breakfast was really good, staff were friendly and helpful. Now the faults, room was really nice but smelt off fresh paint, the door number was held on with one screw and blue tack and the coat hanger in the bathroom was upside down. Would i stay there again definately.
