out of 5We stayed for 2 nights with dinner on the 1st night and breakfast both mornings included. The dinner was amazing and plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast. The drinks at the bar were well priced too, not over priced like most hotels. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. The room was very lovely with the most enormous bed, which was extremely comfortable. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. We will be returning and cannot fault anything.

out of 5Three days of showers, but still enjoyed Cambridge. Royal Cambridge hotel not so good. 2nd floor, problem legs & lift out of action. Hotel desperatly needs a make-over, breakfast very basic!, barely a 3 star rating, didn't have evening meal so can't comment on that. We went mainly to visit museums and colleges and were not dissappointed in spite of the showers, so not able to enjoy a trip on the river. Overall an excellent choice for a few days.

out of 5Nice break away. Hotel ok and most staff very good. No atmosphere in restaurant and my meal was poor. My starter was chicken ceaser salad but they forgot to put the chicken in! Mixed grill was luke warm and steak overcooked. Sent back but "did not have another" so I ended up with an alternative ten minutes after my partner had finished. Young waiter very concerned and helpful but duty manager seemed ineffective. Would not go back.
