out of 5The good weather for the time of year was a great bonus. From the minute we stepped off the train to our return it was a fantastic break. Having never been north of the border before we wern`t sure what to expect, but everything was marvelous, the hotel the bars and resturants, the shops and the people. The open top bus trips are very good as was the royal yacht brittania. Can`t wait to go back.

out of 5I meet up with an old college friend each year in september for a few days. This year we visited edinburgh. Main things to see, the botanic gardens and the national gallery. We sustained ourselves with coffee and cakes and ate at 3 restaurants in rose street. Good view of the castle etc from the hotel dining room/bar/breakfast bar.

out of 5Great views of Edinburgh castle from our hotel room. Restaurants, bars, train station and shops just a short stroll from the hotel. Edinburgh zoo a couple of miles from city centre well worth a visit. Hanams Kurdish & Middle eastern restaurant situated just off the Royal Mile served excellent food. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very cosy. No alcohol served but still a great evening.

out of 5My birthday treat was 2 nights at the Ramada Mount Royal and tickets to see Kate Rusby at the usher hall. Very good comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Excellent Princes Street location with great views over the gardens to the castle in the dining room and bar.
