out of 5We flew over to Trim for a relatives 50th Wedding Anniversary party which was held at the Trim Castle Hotel.Everything about our short break was excellent.From the moment we arrived until we left we had a very enjoyable stay.

out of 5Booked the Ashbourne Marriott after first looking at hotels in Dublin itself and then deciding that we wanted to hire a car so looked for somewhere that was easily accessible to other parts of Ireland aswell whilst not being too far away from the Airport. The location of the Ashbourne Marriott seemed perfect as it was only 20 minutes from the Airport and was very easy to find. The hotel itself was lovely, a credit to the Marriott chain, we opted for a family room which had two lovely big double beds plenty big enough for a 10 and 12 year old, the only niggle was the room temperature, at times was really warm and the air con didn't seem to work during the daytime/evening - night time was fine! Food in the hotel was lovely,even a good childrens selection, we ate only in the Red Bar as we preferred the informal atmosphere especially with 2 children. The service alas was virtually non existent, which was a real shame as the staff were lovely and so too was the food. But....all in all a lovely 4 day break was enjoyed by all the family....Would definately reccomend the hotel to others.
