out of 5This was the best hotel break we have had in the uk for some years. Clean and comfortable hotel, friendly staff - and sufficient in number there was never any need to wait for anything, good facilities, good food and service. Well done menzies mickleover court.

out of 5The hotel was easy to find and very near the a38, a61 and the city of derby. Pleasant hotel but we were bothered by road noise in the morning. The deal we had was excellent value (2 nights b and b plus 1 dinner) this was our first visit to derbyshire and will go again there is so much to do. We would on our next visit, choose a hotel nearer buxton simply because that is the area we want to explore.

out of 5First visit to this area, arrived mid-afternoon and dined in a local pub in mickleover. Found the locals in the village very warm and friendly. Second day visited derby, then back to the hotel to use the pool&spa (excellent). Evening meal in the hotel was very good and nicely presented, then a couple of drinks in the bar. Sunday toured home through the peak district. Lovely weekend.

out of 5Book this hotel to just chill out and relax , and we did what it said on the tin, only one complaint evening meal was poor value and poor choice - I expect more from this standard of hotel .

out of 5Visiting the central tourist information and cathedral quarter in derby we picked up the derwent valley heritage trail we were able to pick up part of the route north of the city and do a circular walk from belper via milford including the 1912 mill and a great pub on route.
