Milton Keynes is great for sports - practice skiing and snow-boarding at Xscape or head to Willen Lake for water-skiing and wakeboarding. Stevenage is known for its parks and quaint old town.

out of 5We stayed here as a group of 10 on the first night dinner and two nights bed and breakfast deal. It was good value for money and the food here was above expectations. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we would stay again.

out of 5Overall we had a smashing time. The hotel was clean and the main areas were modern. The rooms were adequate, clean and smelt fresh but were in need of a bit of love and attention to the decor and the carpet had numerous red wine stains on it, but you had to balance that against the excellent price for 2 nights b & b and dinner on the first night. The food was excellent both breakfast and the evening meal, and we had no hesitation in eating again in the restaurant on the second night, when another perfect meal was served. Overall a great 2 night break for a lot less than 2 nights (bed only) in a premier lodge (how they get away with their prices i don't know). Had no problem occupying our time visiting hughenden manor a nt property, then finishing off with visiting the massive john lewis store nearby in the town. We will need to be down here again next year and won't hesitate to use the hotel if the same type of offer is on.
