out of 5Stayed for a few nights before heading on to Edinburgh. All together it was okay but not enough activites in the area really for a long stay. Just a few days here would be enough to see everything.

out of 5Our monthly shopping trip to Inverness involves a six hour round trip, so it makes sense to take advantage of the rock-bottom prices at this time of year. Ben Wyvis is a good quality hotel and normally the charges are many times the 30GBP (for bed and breakfast) per person that we paid.The staff are very friendly and efficient, but in winter months they find themselves wearing many different hats. This sometimes results in delays in service at times, but nothing intollerable.If visibility is good a the visitor centre on Cairngorm mountain is a must. The panoramic views can be enjoyed over a meal in the restaurant.The mountain summit is just a short journey on the funicular railway.
